This document covers the procedure for fitting an Airmaster standard slipring assembly to a plated extension kit assembly. Installers must complete this task before mounting the propeller hub to the engine flange.
The standard slipring is usually mounted to the spinner backplate, but in some cases, it must be fitted to the extension assembly to make contact with the sensor-brush block. In these cases, the slipring is secured to a dedicated mount plate, which the installer must attach to the extension assembly before installing the propeller.
