I installed my new Airmaster propeller and done some 15 hrs with it on my Jabiru. The following are my experience and performance with the new propeller.
- The packaging was well done, and propeller was delivered with no damage.
- Propeller flange dowl wholes was wrong size I need to machine it to 8mm.
- Instruction manual was well explained, and installation went smoothly.
- Takeoff distance improve by 25-30%
- Climb out improve by 15%
- Cruise went up to 120kts from 110kts
- Fuel burn is at cruise is the same but with increased airspeed.
- Fuel burns at takeoff and climb are more but acceptable and compare to extra performance.
All and all this improve the whole flying experience and with less vibration and cabin noise and with shorter take off, better climb out and faster cruise speed this is a pleasure to have on my Jabiru.
