I want to thank Airmaster for the support and not least the amazing products they produce. I was in contact with propeller manufactures all over the world before I went back to where I started my search. No one could for sure tell me if they could deliver a propeller that would meet or exceed my demands within speed and power output. The custom Rotax 912 Turbo, Intercooler and fuel injected engine delivers 135HP max and the AP430 – SNR64EN propeller has no trouble dealing with that amount of power.
The first thing I noticed when receiving the propeller was how well everything was wrapped and packed. The first impression was stunning. The propeller assembly was straight forward, and mounted in only a couple of hours as I had cut holes for Governor controller and the manual pitch switch. The whole assembly lights up quality and well engineered construction.
When starting the engine with the propeller for the first time, the first thing that truly amazed me was that there was no sign of propeller blade tracking. They run straight like a knife edge. The low noise the propeller produces is also a thing I quickly noticed.
First take-off took me by surprise. I did for sure expect great acceleration and climb with that amount of power and a pitch propeller, but nothing close to what I was about to witness.
Take-off was within 80 meters, steady climb at 2300f/m @ 85KTS. With a flick of a switch the RPM stabilized at 5000rpm and the plane just speed ed up to 145KTS IAS. Wot runs gives me 160-165KTS IAS 2500AMSL.
Thanks you so much!
